Giro Kickoff The Giro’s starting this morning from a little island north of Sardinia, Caprera. There’s a Navy base between Caprera and Sardinia, LaMaddelena, where the Navy’s been overhauling subs since the end of WWII. Absolutely great place. Spent a couple of weeks (tags: giro uci cycling Navy)
